As Americans we celebrate our Independence as a nation but as believers we celebrate our liberty from sin, shame, and eternal damnation.  And just as the Statue of Liberty is a symbol of our American liberty, even so the empty cross is a symbol of spiritual victory in Christ.  Those that the Son of God sets free are Free Indeed!

Hidden within you, is one of the most powerful tools God has given.  It has the capabilities to change the course of history.   It is your God-given gift!  Each of us has been given gifts from God.  It is our responsibility to identify, nurture and use those gifts to advance the Kingdom of God.  Sometimes, because of complacency and inactivity, we have to Stir Up the Gift!

As people of God we need the constant and perpetual watering from God’s Spirit.   And at times when we feel overwhelmed, God is faithful to send Times of Refreshing!

We have settled for less than what God intended for us.  We have replaced relationship with religion; Faith with clichés; and the Power of God with a form of Godliness.  This is Not that which was Prophesied in Joel and Preached in Acts.  If in your spirit you know there is more, ask God to lead you to the place where He reigns in Victory and He is worshipped in Spirit and in Truth, because what we are experiencing today, This is Not That!

We all desire to hear the LORD speak to us.  Many go to great lengths seeking to hear a Word from God.  The good news is that God will speak to us if we position ourselves and learn how to hear and discern His voice.  May this be A Word from the LORD to you!

God has placed within the Believer’s mouth the power of life and death.   I choose life and therefore my thoughts, actions and words will be in agreement with my choice.  I Speak Life!

God, through His Spirit within you, gives you the fortitude, determination and will to press through difficulty, failure, disappointment, rejection, fear and pain to reach for the more of God.  Once you have experienced His presence there is a longing to dwell there.  And to get there you need to be willing to PRESS!
